What we know is that 13 sub-adult Abbagoochies were brought into West Virginia in 1999. They were released by the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources (WVDNR).
There were 9 males and 4 females.
We have come to know the males as Bagu, Gabe, Bo, Echu, Boog, Chooch, Abe, Chee and Bajee.
The females are known as Babs, Abbey, Aggie and Gabie
